Flying start for global dressage auction

Last night the very first Global Dressage Auction closed. The new online dressage auction managed to sell seven of the nine exclusive unborn dressage foals for an average selling price of €13.700,-.
There was a lot of international interest for the collection, brought together by selector Koos Poppelaars. Eventually the lots were sold to the Netherlands, Germany, Denmark and the United Kingdom.
Top Seller
The lot with the highest bid changed hands for €27,000.-. The combination of World Champion Revolution, out of the dam of World Champion Jovian will find its new stable in Germany after it’s born.
Offspring out of full sister Foundation
The So Perfect offspring leaves for the stables of Helgstrand Dressage. Esben Möller about the purchase: “We are very happy that we could obtain this offspring of our stallion So Perfect. With this breeding, it has great potential.”
Team member Abel Slippens about the evening: “We have experienced this first auction as pleasant. Except for a few technical inconveniences, it went smoothly. It is great to see that we have already been able to appeal to a whole international group of buyers. On to the next auction!”
