Vamos Amigos, Imhotep, Glamourdale, Foundation, Totilas, Blue Hors Zack, Weihegold, just a few names that can be found in Global Dressage Auction’s latest collection. A very exclusive collection with seven embryos and two broodmares in foal will be auctioned online from 16 to 19 February.
“Actually, all the lots are very interesting”, Koos Poppelaars explains the collection. “But the embryo of Dante Weltino out of the full sister of Vamos Amigos really stands out.” This son of Vitalis won the team gold medal at the World Championships in Herning last summer and individual silver twice under Denmark’s Cathrine Dufour. “Also the embryo by Glamourdale out of Imhotep’s dam is really exclusive.” Imhotep excelled under Charlotte Dujardin at the World Championships in Herning last summer and was of great value in bringing home the team silver.
No lack of excellent genes
As Koos Poppelaars points out, the other lots do not lack excellent genes either. For instance, an embryo of World Champion Kjento from the dam line of Olympic Dablino is part of the collection. The legendary genes of Totilas are combined with the dam line of multiple, and recently deceased, medallist Parzival.
Full sister Foundation
Do you want to welcome a foal in your stable this year? Then invest in one of the implanted embryos. Toto Jr is combined with the dam line of Olympic Don Schufro, who has also more than earned his spurs in breeding. Powerhouse Indian Rock is paired with the half-sister of Blue Hors Zack. Blue Hors Zack is still calling the shot’s at the age of 19. Last month the top progenitor scored a new personal best under his rider and became 3rd at the World Cup at Jumping Amsterdam. The grandson of none other than Isabel Werth’s Weihegold, Extra Gold, is combined with the full sister of Foundation who is performing strongly under Matthias Alexander Rath.
Pregnant broodmares
Are you looking for a mare to expand your own breeding? Then this collection is also the right place for you. Both broodmares are also pregnant, so you don’t have to wait long. For example, H.Fountana van Hof Olympia (s.Foundation) is expecting a foal by Indian Rock. She herself comes from the dam line of silver medallist Sintano van Hof Olympia. New Daula represents the well-known Daula lineage. This daughter of Painted Black is in foal to the Grand Prix stallion Toto Jr.
