The latest collection of Global Dressage Auction can rightly be called a sensational one. All extraordinary foals that steal your heart the moment you lay eyes on them. Excellent movements, stunning looks, originating from acclaimed dam lines and healthy. And some Spanish influences as the cherry on top, that is this year’s first foal collection in a nutshell.
The German super talent Total McPrada is one of the many favourites. The alluring colt impresses each and every stride he takes. The son of Total McLaren (s.Glock’s Toto Jr) boasts compelling movements and a proud bearance, making him a fantastic prospect for sports and given his interesting and influential German dam line, a future in breeding looks equally bright.
From Total McLaren to McLaren
From Total McLaren we head to the Morricone-son McLaren. Tamoras KH is one of the remarkable offspring of McLaren and thanks to his striking presence he is sure to catch everyone’s eyes. Jovian has been regarded a phenomenon from his very first performance and won the heart of every dressage enthusiast at the World Championships for Young Dressage Horse. This double World Champion obtained over 80% in his Freestyle to Music in Aachen last week. His son Testkees DDL proves that the apple does not fall far from the tree. This extraordinary foal’s granddam is the full sister of the Grand Prix horse Santo DDL and his dam is the half-sister of two Small Tour horses.
Full brother Mister Maserati
Glock’s Toto Jr is the main supplier in this auction collection. Siring no less than one filly and three colts he ensures the Totilas-blood is well represented. Trustfallana T is a daughter of the Small Tour mare Delana T, Toto Jazz Dancer D is bred out of the Central Inspection champion mare Forina (s.Jazz) and Tsaar B is the full brother of the KWPN-approved Mister Maserati and a grandson of the successful Grand Prix mare Reine B. Mister Maserati is the rising star of Diederik van Silfhout. The fourth Toto Jr-offspring in this collection is Touch of Toto, he was bred out of the ZZ-Zwaar mare Soliste (s.Sorento).
Spanish power
In addition, the collection includes two foals whose maternal lineage infused them with a dose of the valuable genes of Glock’s Toto Jr. One of which can be dubbed unique. As his name suggests, Toreador Grootenhout adds some Spanish influences to this collection. His sire is the undisputed PRE World Champion Poeta de Susaeta. Spanish power and the elasticity of Totilas-blood all in one!

I would also like to thank the breeders of the foals for their trust in our auction.
